Individual Therapy

 

Individual therapy provides a compassionate and non-judgmental space for you to explore and process challenging thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. Sessions are tailored towards your specific needs and goals and are 50 or 80 minutes long, depending on your preference.

I will work with you to gain a greater sense of clarity about who you are and the experiences you’ve had so you may feel empowered to make positive and meaningful change in your life.

Sessions are online and conducted over a secure video platform.

The process begins with a free 15-minute consultation.  If we determine we are a good fit and you decide you want to move forward with therapy, we will book your first session.


My Approach

At the core of my work is the importance of fostering a strong therapeutic relationship with you. My goal is to create an environment where you can feel safe to express your innermost thoughts and feelings. I honour that it takes courage to make contact with the things that have been causing you pain. We will go at a pace that you feel comfortable with, and I will support you along the way.

One of my innermost values is engaging in lifelong learning. I regularly seek clinical supervision and take post-graduate training in order to provide a high quality of care to my clients. This allows me to stay recent with advances in research and treatment, and to tailor therapy to meet your unique needs and goals. The therapeutic modalities I draw from include:

Rates

Standard Session

$170 / 50 minute session + GST

Extended Session

$260 / 80 minute session + GST



Payment and Cancellation Information

Clients are required to have a credit card on file in order to book appointments. 

Sessions cancelled with a notice of less than 48 hours, or missed appointments, will be charged at the full session rate.

I do not directly bill insurance for services; however, I provide detailed receipts for clients to bill insurance providers directly. Extended health benefits often cover counselling services with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and/or Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). Please check with your insurance provider to find out more.
